final URL is nil (iOS Javascript API, SDK 8.10)

Hello,

we have tried to load ArchitectWorld from URL:

unfortunately, the final URL is nil:

we couldn't load the javascript file and the camera didn't show either (black).

We are using iPhone 8 plus to debug our project.

It would be great if you could help us as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hi,

So this issue is occurring with the completely unchanged sample application? As this seems to be an issue, related more specific to iOS path setup and reference than an issue with the SDK sample app (we haven't had any other reports regarding such an issue), please have a deeper look also on iOS tutorials, forums for further investigation together with debugging and checking the values of the url.

Thx and greetings

Nicola

Hi,

Is this happening with the SDK sample app or in your own app? If it happens in your own app, please make sure to follow the details in the documentation and make sure to debug the code. It looks like e.g. url doesn't exist or is not referenced correctly.

Thx and greetings

Nicola

Hello,

we have tried everything in the setup documentation. We are using the SDK sample app:

https://github.com/Wikitude/wikitude-sdk-samples/tree/master/08_PointOfInterest_1_PoiAtLocation

we have even checked our bundle url, and it seems that we have used the right path:

our index.html file is located inside ArchitectWorld folder. This is our project structure:

thank you!

We are looking forward to your answer!

Hi,

Can you please try with the SDK sample app that is included in the SDK download package and let us know if the error persist:

https://www.wikitude.com/download-wikitude-sdk-for-ios/

We're currently checking why the sample app code on our Git repository is not updated correctly.

Thx and greetings

Nicola

Hello,

we've been actually using the sample app that is included in the SDK download package from the start. We didn't use the sample app from github.

thank you very much!
