Can I use a video stream instead of phone camera as AR input source?

I know that in most typical scenarios, video captured by phone camera is used as input source for AR recognition and tracking. But for my specific case, i want to use alternative video stream instead of phone camera (the video could be a video embedded in the app in advance, or loaded from outside at runtime). Is it possible with Wikitude AR SDK?

Hello Jason,

This is possible if you use our Input Plugin as described in details here https://www.wikitude.com/external/doc/documentation/latest/android/inputpluginsapi.html#input-plugins-api. However, please keep in mind that you need to decode the video and pass it frame by frame.

Thanks

Eva
