Using other camera resources

Using other camera resources

Hello,

I have a drone. I am able to streaming camera live video from drone to phone. I want to use wikitude on this camera view. How can I do that ? How can I change wikitude's camera source ? How can I set wikitude's camera source to my virtual camera ?

Thanks.

Hello!

The SDK generally is designed to work for mobile device platforms (iOS, Android). So it generally requires the an underlying android framework. I do not assume your drone is based on an Android framework right? If it would be you could run your application directly on the drone, if not you are restricted to the hardware of your mobile phone.

Hope that helps,

Markus

Hi,

I'm using Android based Wikitude SDK JavascriptAPI 5.2.0. I'm not using any of your Extensions.

I want to develope 3D Model at Geolocation App. But I want to use the camera image coming from drone. I don't want to use the my android mobile device's camera.

Can I do it ? If I do, how ?

Thanks.

Hello Suleyman,

Could you please send over some more details like:

- Which version of the SDK are you using?

- Are you using the JS API?

- Is it Android or iOS based?

- Are you using any of our Extensions (Titanium, Cordova, Xamarin, Unity)? If yes, which version are you using?

Can you also share some more details regarding your use case and what it is exactly that you wish to accomplish?

Thank you
