Trial keys are valid for 45 days, a time frame that should allow developers to test the tech.
1. Please note that, while you have an active SDK subscription, you can renew your Trial access for free (from December 2020).
You can generate a new trial key starting with 7 days prior to the trial expiration in the ‘My Account’ page -> ‘Overview’ tab -> ‘SDK Keys’ section. You can repeat this action unlimitedly as long as you have an active SDK subscription. Should you encounter any issues, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org with the details.
2. If you do not have an active SDK subscription and need more time to test, we’d be glad to review key extension requests. An extension request can be made starting with 7 days prior to the trial expiration in the ‘My Account’ page -> ‘Overview’ tab -> ‘SDK Keys’ section :
- If your trial key is still valid -> Starting with one week before the key is due to expire, you can request a new trial key via your account. You will see at the trial key level, under VALIDITY: ‘need a trial extension? apply here’.
- If your trial key has expired -> You will see at the trial key level, under KEY: ‘Request New Trial’.
Press on the link, submit your request, and please make sure to check the email you receive! We might ask for additional information from you before possible approval. Please keep in mind that Wikitude guarantees access to one free trial key, and not all requests will receive a positive answer. If this request gets approved, your current trial key will be replaced by a new one under the same conditions (valid for 45 days).
