IOS Swift Os version 15.0 getting black screen

Hello Sir/Ma'am,

We are trying to implement Wikitude SDK for ios in latest os. My device Iphone XR having os version 15.1 when we run the app debug build is successfully integrated SDK but couldn't work in release (testflight). We are having black screen after starting of wikitude. Do help us into this and guide us how release build will work. Kindly Check debug screenshot it's showing licence key with proper SDK starting see the attachment. Help me in my email id - developer8.jstechno@gmail.com.

Hi,

Could you please provide further details:

  • Which version of the SDK are you using?
  • Are you working with the JS API or the Native API?
  • Are you using any of our Extensions (Cordova, Xamarin, Unity)? If yes, which version are you using?
  • Is this happening with the sample app or in your own app? If it happens with your own app, Does the sample app work on your device?

Thx

Nicola

Hi Nicola,

  • Which version of the SDK are you using?
  • Answer - Wikitude SDK Version 9.6
  • Are you working with the JS API or the Native API?
  • Answer - Native API
  • Are you using any of our Extensions (Cordova, Xamarin, Unity)? If yes, which version are you using?
  • Answer - No we are not using any extensions, we are using only for react native app.
  • Is this happening with the sample app or in your own app? If it happens with your own app, Does the sample app work on your device?
  • Answer - No in sample app there is no black screen issue, even our android app wikitude_api_key working perfectly. But in ios only having this trouble.

Thanks & Regards,
Parth

Hi,

I assume that you are initializing the SDK, then setting the license key, and finally starting the SDK.

Can you reproduce the issue when running the app in release mode locally? Are there any error messages in the Xcode log when the SDK starts? Or is this issue happening only in the Testflight build?

Does the app have permission to access the camera?
