How can I generate the marker of arch-shape object?

this is what I want to make the marker with. I took pictures surrounded 180 degree then tried several times, but it's only worked with 'same source'. I mean, when time changes the shade of around there also changes. then cannot recognize marker through the application..
is there any proper way to handle targets like this?
p.s. I tried plane marker(wtc) with the arch(did cover all around black but arch) then also almost failed(very rare to recognize)
