Android x86 Discontinued

I recently read your "Spring Cleaning Update" from March to discover you no longer allow targeting of x86 Intel for the Android SDK. Since Android no longer ships ARM emulators for the newest revisions of their OS, I feel this greatly impacts the ability to develop and debug applications.

Do you have any suggestions on how we can develop without a physical device now that I can no longer target x86 emulators for Android with my Wikitude binaries?

Hi Adam,

First of all, sorry for the late response.

Let me check with the team about the emulator issue and come with an answer as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Aitor.

Is there any update to this?

I wouldn't get your hopes up Stefan

We do not support the x86 architecture anymore and unfortunately I don't have a proper solution for you than develop with a physical device.

We do have some ideas about generating a x86 version for developing purposes in Android, but right now it is not in our road map shortly.

Thank you,

Aitor.
