Instant tracking not working on Honor 7

The instant tracking demo apps do not work on Honor 7 smartphone with Android 6.0 with the 8.3 Android Javascript SDK.

After I open one of the Instant Tracking samples, the UI shows normally.

But when I click on the play button the AR experience crashes.

These are the logcat errors:

03-21 11:00:57.825 16931-17063/com.wikitude.sdksamples E/libEGL: validate_display:255 error 3008 (EGL_BAD_DISPLAY)

The strange thing is that it used to work with the version 8.2 of the Android Javascript Wikitude SDK.

Eventually, is there any way to get the older version of the SDK?

I forgot to mention that the app is running without platform assisted tracking (ARCore)

Hi Francesco,

thank you for reporting this issue.

The log messages you sent seem to be filtered by the app. Could you try to disable the filtering, and send us the complete log of the time the crash happens.

This should give us a better understanding of how this crash happened.

Best Regards,

Alex
