Interactive model without a tracker?

Is there a way to create an interactive model without the use of an image or object tracker? 


I"m wanting to create a type of social media feature where people can take a picture of themselves and then position a model over the top of the picture. The photo part would pretty much just take place within native cordova plugins but the model part would be wikitude. I've read about attaching the model to a geoobject and then positioning it but I cannot find out how to do this.


Any help would be great. Thanks!

Hi Joe,


As our SDK is not a 3D rendering engine, but only is supporting displaying of 3D models either based on a location or via Image / Object Recognition, we don't support 'just displaying' a 3D model in the camera view. If you wish to work with geobased AR, you can find a sample in our SDK sample app (3D model section).
