We are developing an app for outdoor instant tracking.
Since there are several chances that the user will not be in an idea situation for good tracking, is there a way to check:
- is user's phone supported for Wikitude's instant tracking?
- how is the quality of the tracking (example with a float from 0 to 1)?
I'm looking for some flags like trackingFailed or something even smarter that I'm not aware of.
Instant Tracking is supported on all devices that meet the minimum requirements (http://www.wikitude.com/external/doc/documentation/latest/unity/supporteddevicesunity.html#supported-devices), but currently there is no indicator in the Unity API that could tell you how well it will perform on the current device.
We will take this suggestion in consideration for future updates.
