Hi,
You can use to have as augmented objects Images, Videos, 3D Models and HTMLDrawables. So if you wish to place buttons you would define an HTMLDrawable as explained in details here http://www.wikitude.com/external/doc/documentation/latest/Reference/JavaScript%20API/classes/HtmlDrawable.html.
