Problem while trying to run sample InstantTracking on SDK 6.1, iOS 10.3.1

Hi,

I'm using the JAVASCRIPT SDK 6.1 on iOS 10.3.1  and I have a problem while trying to run the sample 04_InstantTracking from wikitude github. I got some warnings:

Please help me with this.

Hello Rafal,

First of all, since you mentioned that you download our sample from github, could you please make sure that you download our sample from the download page? In addition, since you are testing with one of latest iOS versions, 10.3.1, could you also test on a device with a previous iOS version?

Finally, I noticed that you are also using Swift so please, keen in mind that Wikitude currently does not support Swift. However, I do not believe that this is causing any issues.

Thanks
Eva

Hello Eva,

Thank you for your answer. I run the same sample but from download page. I have the same problem on iOS 10.3 and 10.3.1 but  on iOS 10.2.1 sample run correctly without warrinings. Unfortunately, the interface looks like the screenshot above.

Do you have any idea what might be wrong?

Hello Rafal,

The unaltered JavaScript sample app didn't have any license issues on our 10.3 device (iPhone 5S). Are you sure you did not change anything before running our sample app? Are you testing on a surface with a solid color and without any structure?

Thanks
Eva

Hi I am having the same issue but it is showing the black screen

Hello Pritam,

Could you please provide further details on the issue:
  • Which version of the SDK are you using?
  • Are you using the JS API?
  • Are you using any of our Extensions (Titanium, Cordova, Xamarin, Unity)? If yes, which version are you using?
  • What device does this happen with (os Version and model)?
  • Is this happening with the sample app or in your own app? If it happens with your own app, does the sample app work on your device?
  • Send a video demonstrating your issue so we can check how we can reproduce this.

Thanks

Eva

Hi Thanks for your reply...

I am using SDK 6.0..licence version...

I am using iPhone 7  iOS 10.3....and iPhone 6 with iOS version 10.3.1

It is happening on my own application...

I am using native iOS SDK......It works sometimes but sometimes the screen becomes black...

Thanks,

Pritam

Hello Pritam,

Thank you for providing this extra information. Could you please also share a video with us demonstrating exactly the issue you are experiencing?

Thanks
Eva

I found this issue more on iPhone 7 and iOS version 10.3.2

Hi Pritam,

This could actually be more of an IOS issue rather than a Wikitude bug. Does this forum thread maybe help?

Thanks
Eva
