Launching Wikitude from Ionic causes back button to close app

I am facing to the same problem. Is there any progress with this issue?

Good day,

Upon launch of the augmented view, if I press the back button, it causes the application to close rather than take me back to the previous webview, this suggests to me that it destroys the webview inadvertently. Kindly advise what causes this and how I could approach fixing it.
