Strange artefacting on device, but no errors in Wikitude 3D encoder

Hi,

I'm using the Wikitude Titanium module, modifying the ModuleSamples application to see if it will fulfill our needs for an AR application. Our 3D guy has prepared me a .wt3 file, which loads up into Wikitude 3D encoder with no errors (see https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10538001/wikitude-3d-encoder-screenshot.jpg). When I run the app on an iOS device, it looks like this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10538001/IMG_20140911_115223.jpg, and on an Android device, like this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10538001/_20140911_115914.JPG

Is anyone able to shed any light on why neither of them display as they look in the encoder, and why they appear so differently across platforms?

Thanks in advance,

Ben

Hi Ben,

I noticed that your model contains more than a million vertices which is quite a lot for a relatively 'simple' 3d model. I guess that you have a memory issue because of this. Reduce the number of vertices in your original model and export it again.

Hope that helps,
Christian
