I want to create an class schedule android application that show the direction to the user from current position to the position of her next classroom. I'm having doubts because the distances was not that big.
Hi there,
usually GPS and Network positioning is not that accurate in classrooms. Fortunately some companies' focus on indoor positioning. Unfortunately this requires either calibration setup in case you already have WiFi signal all around your school, or installing additional small Bluetooth Beacons or WLAN routers.
These companies usually come with an iOS and Android SDK you may then combine with our AR SDK (custom "setLocation").
Infsoft and Indoo.rs are two out of a dozen you'll find in your preferred search engine.
