how to know the tracker is working?

Hi,

i'm new to this and have just started the image recognition tutorial .a simple one , uploaded my image to target manager , setup everything as per the documentaiton.fired up the app but there was no target detected? the were no crashes and nothing . so just wondering , how to know if the codes are running right trying to find the target??
