Called unimplemented OpenGL ES API

Called unimplemented OpenGL ES API

Meh, I just need to add the following method in order to get the camera working.

@Override

public void onResume() {

super.onResume();

this.architectView.onResume();

}

BTW, I'm still getting the "Called unimplemented OpenGL ES API" and "Could not find class 'android.webkit.WebResourceResponse'" errors but the APP don't crash now. I'm not sure if this is related...

Hi Andreas!

Thanks for your response and I just want to make a clarification. Here is the right code due I'm using the ArchitectView in a Fragment:

@Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater i, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreateView(i, container, savedInstanceState);
inflater = i;
View view = inflater.inflate(R.layout.ar, container, false);

architectView = (ArchitectView)view.findViewById(R.id.architectView);
architectView.onCreate("");
return view;
}

Now I am able to see the Wikitude logo and fade off after few seconds but the camera is not initialized. Here is my manifest:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"

Thanks!

Hi Fernández,

Please have a look at the provided Sample Project and have a close look at the life-cycle callbacks.
You need to call all architectview.on* methods properly, right after the lifecycle call of the Fragment.

e.g.

private ArchitectView architectView;

@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
...
this.architectView = getView().findViewById(R.id.architectView);
architectView.onCreate("");
}

Kind regards

Hi!

I'm trying to make a application but unfortunately I'm suffering some issues. I'm able to compile the application on my MotoDroid 2 Global (Android 2.2) but it crash when I try to init the code with the Wikitude. The error is "Called unimplemented OpenGL ES API" and "FATAL EXCEPTION: GLThread 11".

Here is my code:

import com.wikitude.architect.ArchitectView;

import mx.app.sutsix.NavigationActivity;
import mx.app.sutsix.R;
import android.app.Activity;
import android.content.Context;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.support.v4.app.Fragment;
import android.view.LayoutInflater;
import android.view.View;
import android.view.ViewGroup;

public class ArFragment extends Fragment {

LayoutInflater inflater;
public Context context;
public NavigationActivity listener;

public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater i, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {
inflater = i;
View view = inflater.inflate(R.layout.ar, container, false);
return view;
}

@Override
public void onAttach(Activity activity) {
super.onAttach(activity);
if(!ArchitectView.isDeviceSupported(activity)) {

}
}

@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
}

}

And here is my layout:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"

    android:layout_width="match_parent"

    android:layout_height="match_parent"

    android:background="#FFFFFF" >

    <TextView

        android:id="@+id/editText1"

        android:layout_width="wrap_content"

        android:layout_height="wrap_content"

        android:layout_alignParentLeft="true"

        android:layout_alignParentTop="true"

        android:layout_marginLeft="92dp"

        android:layout_marginTop="147dp"

        android:text="hola mundo"

        android:textColor="#000000"

        android:ems="10" />

    <com.wikitude.architect.ArchitectView

android:keepScreenOn="true"

xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"

xmlns:wikitude="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/mx.app.sutsix"

android:layout_width="fill_parent"

android:layout_height="fill_parent"

android:id="@+id/architectView"/>

</RelativeLayout>

Thanks!
